General Description

The ACPL-4800 fast speed optocoupler contains a GaAsP LED and photo detector with built-in Schmitt trigger to provide logic-compatible waveforms, eliminating the need for a pull up resistor and allows for direct drive Intelligent Power Module or gate drive.

    Eliminates additional pull-up resistors and inverter I/O circuitries
  • Wide Voltage Supply Range
    4.5V to 20V - wider selection of application
  • Wide Temperature Range
    -40 to 100°C temperature range - for FAST IPM application over industrial temperature range
  • High CMR
    30 kV/ms at Vcm = 1000V helps to ensure data integrity during noisy environment and voltage surges
  • Regulatory safety standards approvals from IEC, UL and CSA
